Hospitality has been in Mitch’s genes since his first busser job at Pumpernick’s Deli as an early teen. Following his passion through graduation at Michigan State University with a BA in Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management, he joined Amway Grand. After some time with Laventhol & Horwath CPA as a Hospitality Consultant he made the move to Champps Americana as a GM and Area Manager. He was instrumental (through early growth of the brand) in opening stores in Cleveland and Columbus OH along with overseeing restaurants in MN and WI. As one of the Founders of Granite City Food and Brewery he was Operations Leader and then CFO taking the concept public in 2002. Mitch continued his career progression with Leadership roles as Corporate Controller and VP of Operations for Bonfire Restaurant Company.
Recently relocating back to family in Palm Beach, FL has led him to work with EHS. Throughout his career he has coached, trained, educated and mentored leaders in all aspects of Hospitality including Finance, Accounting, Operations and ground up consulting.
