Marius joined the hospitality industry after completing a Science Degree at Transilvania University in Romainia in 1995.   

He started his career with a cruise line bartending and moved quickly into Management as a Sommelier and Head Sommelier on the Renaissance Cruise Line and Celebrity Cruise Line. In 2000, Marius obtained a Sommelier Certification at The American Sommelier Association in Miami and became the Wine Director at The Boca West Country Club. He also opened a restaurant as a Restaurant Manager in Ft. Lauderdale called Da campo Osteria by Todd English. He moved to New York in 2008 and continued his career with high caliber operations by joining the well-known Long Island, New York Steakhouse called Blackstone, owned by Scotto Brothers. Marius also spent time with Hendricks Tavern, a company owned by Poll Brothers. To add to his experience he also worked for a Michelin Star restaurant called Andanada as a General Manager in upper west side Manhattan.

His passion for hospitality and interest for recruiting became clear after speaking with one of our recruiters, John Kolakowski, and while in New York he met with Market Partner Michael Starrantino. Marius will be working closely with Michael in the New York Market as well as National Accounts. Marius looks forward to using his talents from the Restaurant Industry as well as his relationships in NYC to help build great careers for many people.
