Julien grew up in Paris, France and has lived abroad in St. Barth’s, Miami, La Reunion, Rio de Janeiro, London and currently New York City. He has worked for 20 years in the hospitality business from hotels to restaurants as a server, Sommelier and Manager.
After completing culinary school in France with a sommelier certification, Julien started out his career working at reputable bistros and fine dining establishments in Paris. Some restaurants include Cafe Trocadero, Cafe Marly and Hotel Costes.
Julien pursued his career during his world travels until finally settling in New York City where he helped grow the now franchised Amelie Wine Bar & Restaurant, followed by Le Coq Rico, Boucherie and Bagatelle.
With a vast knowledge of all aspects of the restaurant business, Julien looks forward to placing candidates in the best positions suitable for them and the establishment.
