So you’re unemployed and you send resumes to anything and everything. Then a recruiter calls you. You were or are working 60-70 hours per week, with one day off and either no benefits or paying a ridiculous amount for insurance. I call you which says I am interested in your background and I am certain a can find you a better career. If you are serious about finding a job, make sure your voicemail is set-up and you answer your phone. Just because you don’t recognize the number, answer it. It is most likely a great opportunity on the other end.
In most cases, we were in the trenches doing what you do when you were in grade school. All of our recruiters have over 20 years of operational experience. We have been there and done that. If you try it on your own, because you’re smarter than your recruiter, then you won’t know the salary ranges, the growth opportunities, the benefits, the history of the company and the background of the person you are interviewing with. We do all the heavy lifting for you and it’s FREE.
There are 168 hours in a week. If you spend 68 hours working, sleep 42 hours a week (6 hours a day X 7 days) you have 58 hours to call me, shoot me a text or reply to my emails. If you are smarter than your recruiter and don’t NEED our help, keep working 70 hours a week until you are too old to be a great prospect for any company and then take a job selling cars or life insurance. Show us some love and we’ll take care of you. #loveyourrecruiter.
